This might be off topic, however, I am consistently considering weekend get aways and loved ones holidays, and day journeys for our family…I was concerned about if any other father and mother have been like this? lol

Wheres your favorite household vacation spot? Just one of my favorites is Myrtle Beach

What is your preferred weekend get absent? camping is just one of my favorites

What is your preferred day journey? Mine would be a day out boating or the zoo or an amusement park…elements like that..

My child never tires of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We go there every year. I have been wanting to go to the mountains and I always get outvoted by him and my husband. Myrtle Beach has lots of things for kids to do but he is just as happy staying at the hotel in the lazy river, hot tub, ocean, pool etc. He loves to go put-put golfing, movies and amusement park. We also have taken him to Ripley’s Believe It or Not Aquarium. Lots of things to do in Myrtle.

Cape Cod advice. What’s the best family destination in Cape Cod and the best way to get there?
I’m planning on taking a family vacation to Cape Cod in July and need some information. We’re from Ohio and have never been to the Cape. I have 3 young girls 13, 10, & 8. We plan on flying into Boston, spending a day in Boston doing the Freedom Trail walk and catching a baseball game then heading to the Cape the next morning. Any advice on where to go, how to get there, where to stay, good swimming beaches…etc. Moderate budget.

I was going to suggest the Couples Resorts in Jamaica, they are outstanding….but then I saw that you want to take your family, and they are adult only. I think you may do well with Beaches or Sandals, and I would go directly to thier websites to see what they are offering. However, to really save you should book during the “off” season. I think it’s Sept thru April. The weather there is so constant that it will not be a consideration (except maybe hurricane season). We went in Dec one year and you would never guess its was “winter”. Hope you can go……We’ve been twice and its a real experience you’ll never forget. Good luck.

What are some good family vacation spots in Sedona and Phoenix?
My family and I are taking a road trip to Arizona in December. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good attractions and scenic beauties in Sedona and/or Phoenix. My grandma will also be going, so hiking is not an option for us. Thank you!

I can relate….I took my three kids to Myrtle Beach South Carolina. They have amusement parks and water parks etc, lots of mini golf and cheap eats…And most of all reasonably priced lodging. I would consider there. I go every year to this day….I don’t know what time of year you are planning to go but when I go in May, I can get an oceanfront suite for around $70 a night and that can sleep four kids and two adults….For example, room type H at Sea Dip Motel & Condos….www.seadip.com
The best part is when you get to town there is about a 1/2 dozen different coupon books you can get and save big on food and shopping.

I get one every year.

Best cheap family attractions and lodging in Nashville at Christmas?
I’m planning a family vacation to Nashville this Christmas (first week of December) and my family will be arriving from several different states-this is just the most central location for everyone so I picked it!

What’s the best cheap place to stay? We prefer a condo or cabin with enough room for 3 couples and some kids…maybe 4 bedrooms.

Are there fun things to do there? Kids ages range from infant to 18 years old!
